NASCAR Coke Zero 400 questons?

I just started watching NASCAR and I want to know a few things about this race/ what's with the restrictor plate do they make them faster or slower and how fast will the cars go and what's with the bump drafting. And dose this hurt the chances of the person being drafted by another driver
