Is it wrong to keep from my gf that i try talking to other girls?

for some reason, i really like talking to girls and having their input on things and thoughts. Maybe because up to high school i went to a boys only school and really didnt have any friends who were girls. Mostly just acquaintances. now that i graduated, i have a gf, but i still really like meeting other girls and getting to know them. i like being seen around girls, and i enjoy girls hanging out with me when i go to places. Of course i love my gf, but when she's working and b/c we go to diff schools im not by her 24/7. i do also have guy friends, but i enjoy talking to new girls! i do not tell my gf that in school i talk to random girls b/c she might get pissed. I guess i just enjoy conversation with the female psyche! does this make me a bad person? should i tell my gf? i do know that if she did do the same thing with guys id get furious, but i know myself and know that i have the control to just remain friends, and i KNOW that guys are more persitent/ horny so if she has a lot of guy friends guys might become stalkers and that is a fact..
